Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been an acclaimed American writer of cook books for a number of decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina started writing policies and nuclear energy papers for the White House. Although she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually stopped her interest. So she purchased a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. After nearly 18 years of making the business a massive success, she decided to sell it and started creating her first novel. The cookbooks were followed by many more and magazine columns that came later. The Food Network TV show also was launched, and was a huge hit. Her range of items spans from cooking equipment, to food items and storage containers. Ina, who is self-taught and has not attended a culinary school or in a hotel. Her name is associated with her casual style of creating and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
