Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most acclaimed films. Born and raised in an artistic family living in New York she wished to work in the field of art. In the beginning, she worked as a assistant to photographers. Then she shifted her focus into directing and modeling. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged as a winner of her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. After only three movies, she received the title of top female box-office start in the world. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were made in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw married three people.
