Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer who is best recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in several Broadway plays before breaking through into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner's performance in the year 1957. She released her album It's too late for Tina the in the same year. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda, a character in the movie. In the course of this film, she was joined the Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career with ease between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting in somber roles against her perceived image of a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been a popular director for well-known television series such as Supernatural and The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965 in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived her childhood. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and is a resident of Vancouver ever from then on.
