Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam having Chinese roots, while Winston Barrett Munn's family has origins deep within the American South. Olivia's parents split up at the age of the age of two. Her mother raised her as well as her stepfather who is a United States Air Force officer. The family emigrated to Oklahoma and lived in various locations, however she spent most of her time in Tokyo. During this time she performed in a number of local theater productions, and then began modeling for the Japanese fashion industry. Olivia relocated from the United States back to Los Angeles, where she pursued her dream of becoming an actor. After a few small roles in TV programs that featured Hawaii lense (such such as Beyond the Break), she won the role Mily Acuna and landed Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan. She hosts the podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut", and "The Daily Nut". She loves surfing and has been practicing it ever since the television program Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she holds a black belt in taekwondo. At the age of two, old her mother remarried, this time to a member in the US Air Force. While the family moved several times, she was primarily raised in Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather was stationed by the military. In the University of Oklahoma is where she studied journalism with minors in Japanese, drama and dramatic arts.
